From orchestra to building synth-scapes to traditional instruments around the world, Katie's music is informed and imaginative.
Katie Rupinski is a Los Angeles based composer specializing in Game Audio and music for Film and Television. Starting in music at the age of 10, Katie started singing and writing songs on the guitar with the few chords she learned from Youtube. Studying piano and learning guitar and bass on her own, Katie started singing in the high school jazz band. Through City Music Boston, Katie was able to attend Berklee Five Week for high schoolers and truly see this was where she wanted to attend. By the end of high school, Katie was leading the sixth-grade jazz band and the local acapella group.
Attending Berklee from 2019-2023, Katie studied Film Scoring and Game Scoring. Her passion comes from writing to picture and finding a love for game engines and audio middleware. The ability to give the music of a story multiple interactive possibilities is extremely enjoyable to learn. Now coming to the end of her time at Berklee, Katie is continueing to work on animations and games as well as looking for work in the audio side of the games industry.
