Katie Rupinski is a Los Angeles based composer specializing in music for film, television, and games. She is currently working as a Composer Assistant to Emmy-winning composer, Mac Quayle.
Attending Berklee from 2019-2023, Katie studied Film Scoring and Game Scoring. In 2023, Rupinski had the distinct honor of winning the "Next Gen"Scholarship through EA and Berklee. Working alongside and meeting with Steve Schnur, EA President of Music, as well as Grammy Winners Stephen Barton and Gordy Haab, she got first hand experience and invaluable knowledge of the industry today, giving her a great sense of how to navigate larger projects. Her passion comes for writing to picture comes from a love of story telling and finding a love for game engines and audio middleware comes from her years playing games and learning basic coding. The ability to give the music of a story multiple interactive possibilities is extremely enjoyable to learn. Outside of music, Katie can be found on the soccer field with friends or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
